Section 87A is the rebate in the filing table when taxable income is within the limit for that regime. The office is at 515 Trichy Road, Singanallur.
This page is the section 87A rebate. The slab choice stays on the slabs page. The comparison stays on the income-tax filing page. Do not send the income-tax password in chat. Call +91 94454 38387.
For AY 2026-27 the new regime is the default under section 115BAC. On that regime the rebate applies if taxable income is up to ₹12,00,000. With the ₹75,000 standard deduction, salary up to ₹12.75 lakh is generally within that rebate. A resident is the person named in that filing answer.
On the old regime the same table states a full tax rebate up to ₹5,00,000 of taxable income. HRA, 80C, 80D, and home-loan interest stay on the filing page. This page does not state those limits, and it does not state the slab bands.
The slabs page explains the choice and does not freeze slab rupees. The calculator is an estimate, on the income tax calculator. A salary return that stays inside ITR-1 is on the ITR-1 page.
After the return is filed, e-verify within 30 days. The return is quoted before it is filed. The first discussion is free.
